i wanted to share this story.. we were (many years ago) going out in service.
i was in the car with annointed one driving, his wife and the person who had 'brought me into the faith' and my daughter.
we went through an intersection where this old man (annointed one) was not paying attention.
Knew several in the sixties. I can remember the memorial being a regular feast, the plate was seriously empty when it got sent around. All the annointed were old then.
I think that Frannie may have been mistreated because she came in under the 1935 closing date and was a woman, more emotional and prone to a false annointing experience they assume. That's probably thier take on it.
One annointed lady years later, in the 1980's told me that she was annointed by a voice that called her down the stairs of her apartment. She heard her name and came down the stairs and was told she was anointed. Hmmmmmm. Seems like the old annointed were less heebeegeebee like.

I know it read as if he knew headship was a bunch or crap, but the translation for his statement is actually; "She doesn't squat or put out when I tell her too!" That's the point of reference for headship for this "Star in the right hand of Christ".

wanted to write another topic entirely, but after quite some thinking i thought that one particular topic should be addressed.
especially, for people still feeling confused.
we often wonder why so many dubs looks like zombies, why it is hard to make them see the real truth about the truth, why cant they discuss any topic in depth without resorting to reasoning book or other wtbs literature, why it is that they are so easily manipulated, why it is that they are filled with apostate state of mind fears (fearing to question anything), why, why, why?

No doubt you have been dealing with some very frustrating situations in recent times. I hope that there are people nearby that support you in figuring this business out. Most of us are too far to come and comfort, words will have to suffice. If you have any better sites to reccomend I'd like to read them. My niece was born with spina bifida and I know the challange an ongoing medical condition can present.

I recieved an email from a friend at the DC who I encouraged to attend college. He has been going for the last year and has really come out of his shell. His family are all dubs but he's not baptized yet. I warned him about the college bashing at the DC and this was part of his email to me tonite.

in the middle of the night, a tree in my yard split and half of it fell right across the street.
so early this morning i was up cutting it up and getting it out of the road.. now as i was doing this i started thinking about the noah story and what it would take to build something out of wood as large as the ark was described to be.
now i had a chain saw that made relatively quick work of it, but i can tell you that even a 2 foot piece of green lumber is quite heavy.
Here's the question:
